Business Consultant in Copenhagen:

Do you want to help make a special effort for Ukrainian refugees and contribute to the Danish Refugee Council’s efforts in the field of employment?

Who are we?

DRC – Danish Refugee Council, Employment is a department that provides employment efforts as another actor for municipalities in Denmark. Starting from the department on Thoravej in Copenhagen, but we have tasks for several municipalities in Greater Copenhagen as well as for Køge municipality, especially with a focus on Ukrainian refugees in particular.

Your tasks

DRC Integration is looking for an experienced and outreach business consultant who has a flair for building relationships in municipal job centers and can contribute to the further development of our employment department in Greater Copenhagen.

Your primary task will be to work on projects that support Ukrainian refugees. Here you have to help find job openings in companies and ensure a good match between the companies and their vacancies, and available Ukrainian refugees.

In everyday life, you will work closely with our team in Copenhagen and Køge and to some extent collaborate with our other teams throughout the country.

Your primary tasks will be:

Establish cooperation with companies and municipalities and contribute to DRC Integration becoming better known as an actor in the job centres.

Matching between Ukrainian refugees and companies and their vacancies.

Outreach work in companies in Greater Copenhagen to identify possible vacancies.

Contribute to the fact that job centers that have worked in collaboration with DRC – Danish refugee aid experience a good service from DRC and are familiar with our projects.

Your profile

You have experience of working with vulnerable, unemployed citizens and preferably experience from a similar position as a business consultant or job consultant. All employees at the Danish Refugee Council must possess our 5 core competencies, which are: Quality, Cooperation, Communication, Co-responsibility and Integrity. We also expect you to:

Has knowledge of refugees and refugees’ challenges in a new country.

Has relevant knowledge of employment legislation.

Can establish positive relationships with our business partners as well as maintain existing cooperation and develop new cooperation opportunities.

Able to structure your working day with respect for tasks, business partners and colleagues.

Is good at collaborating with colleagues and can contribute positively to everyday life in our departments.

It is a requirement that you have a driving license B, as you have to drive between our offices and job centers in Zealand.

Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the collective agreement between the Danish Refugee Council and the Danish Social Counselor Association.
